How Does Green Wastewater Treatment Work?

There are other mechanisms used to clean the water. They include the use of green plants, snails, fish and micro-organisms. The resulting water is thus effectively treated and aerated to a level that it does not contain harmful pollutants. It can be added into the sludge tank. It is worth noting that no artificial substances or chemicals have been added so far. This makes the system a natural and effective way of dealing with waste water.

Once organic residue and micro-organisms are eliminated from your water, it is safe to direct it towards the common mussel. The next step will be using it on demonstration ponds since it poses no health risk to the environment, users or any organism coming into contact with it. The use of root zone plants at the final stage means that this water can be allowed back into natural sources.
