There are a many different ways to apply sealant. The content of the sealers will decide the most suitable applicator to be used. The different applicators incorporate hand pumps that spray, no air high/Low pressure sprays, paint rollers, synthetic mops, T-Bars, micro fibre applicators and even a lamb's wool applicator.

Each of the listed applicators have their own pros and cons. The airless spray machine is very costly to purchase, so if this is a once off job you may want to consider renting one instead of buying one. The hand pump spray machine works well however it also depends on what sealant you are trying to spray, if the sealant is too thick it will clog the nozzle and you will battle. The roller and other applicators can be used but are far less versatile than the pump and airless systems.

The significance of having a good sealant is to evade the likes of surplus water seeping into the concrete as this can cause damp of which can weaken the groundwork or formation. The sealant can also prevent mold and other formations of fungus from rising where it shouldn't. The sealant also protects against staining that can come from anything from a spill or even from nature's elements such as the sun or rain and dirt.

One thing to keep in mind is that sealing is a process. You want to apply multiple thin layers of sealant at a time. If you are going to rush things and put one thick layer you will have a lot of problems. First of all the sealant will take much longer to dry than if it were applied in thin coats. There is also a chance that the sealant will be unevenly spread, this will lead to some parts being less protected than others.

Uneven coats may be noticeable by you and other people which may lead from something nice being an eye sore. Color may even seem different due to the unevenness. By spraying at a constant mist, you can accurately and effortlessly achieve precise and consistent layers of sealant that are the same thickness across the surface. On the whole this means the full assignment will be covered and there'll be no uncertainties of something not being covered.

Even on uneven surfaces the spray machine works wonders. Unlike a brush or roller the spray will penetrate and mold around any surface. With a spray machine, hand pump or airless the job will be done quicker and the appearance of the sealant will look smoother and ultimately better.

Regardless of what your use, inside or outside, you can be sure in the spraying systems. Remember always to make consult the application instruction that accompanies the sealant you purchase. This is given to assist you with the correct method, applicator and timing to apply for that exact sealant.
